“Sanada" - Deerskin Wristlet Bags with Wrist Strap
East meets West - I am using some materials found on my travels to Japan this year for a limited production of bags. Isao’s 15th generation family business has been making the Sanada (a name of samurai) straps more than 500 years.
These unique zip pouches are made from remnants that cannot be used for our deerskin jacket production due to its bullet holes. The bag you receive might not be the exact one in the photograph.
There may be variations in the hide that occur such as scars and scrapes. We believe this variation holds a special value and share our unique story of presentation, mindful processing and a nod to the past.
Patched on one side and our beloved My Dear Tejas logo on the other side.
